HAPPY BIRTHDAY (GUY INSIDE) GODZILLA!!!
A big ol’ DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN Happy Birthday to Katsumi Tezuka who turns 100 years old on Friday, August 31, 2012! Not only did Katsumi appear in many of our favorite Japanese Monster Movies, but he was in the original 1954 movie, appeared as Godzilla several times more (King Kong vs. Godzilla, Mothra vs. Godzilla, El Vato vs. Godzilla…), but he also played Anguirus, Moguera, Varan, and the dreaded Medical Center Doctor in 1963′s Matango. He appeared most recently in Godzilla 2001.
So Happy 100th Birthday Katsumi Tezuka (I think that’s about a year and a half in Godzilla years) from UNCLE PETE and all of the gang in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!
