SORORITY GIRLS AND PSYCHO KILLERS – AN AMERICAN TRADITION!

AN EXCITED EL VATO BRINGS UNCLE PETE THIS WEEK’S FEATURE

Well, it’s back to school time again, and since many of our college age viewers may be considering going “Greek”, we here at THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN  felt it was to the perfect time to dig up this week’s feature as sort of a public service/instructional film.  Join UNCLE PETE and El Vato Saturday as they bring you the 1977 thriller – Sisters Of Death!

Our film opens with a secret sorority initiation ceremony in progress that includes some pledges being told to participate in a little game of Russian Roulette (one of our favorite pastimes here in the VAULT).  Although there weren’t supposed to be an actual live bullets involved, somehow one gets loaded and one of the pledges is killed accidentally.  Or was it an accident?

Fast forward a bit to where 5 of the Sisters receive anonymous invitations and some cash to come for a reunion at swanky desert estate. So of course the girls, including Claudia Jennings (Judy), Sherry Boucher (Diana), and Cheri Howell (Sylvia), accept and head for the party.  Along the way, a couple of guys – Paul Carr (Mark) and Joe Tata (Joe) – decide, for some reason, that they should tag along with a bunch of unescorted beautiful girls staying at a lavish, remote mansion.  when they arrive,, they find that they are trapped on the estate and they soon learn that it’s owned by the somewhat deranged father of the girl who got de-brained at the initiation.  Not too surprisingly, people start getting bumped off, one by one.  But who is the killer?

From director Joseph Mazzuca, our film also features Sherry Alberoni, one time Mouseketeer and the voice of Alexandra from the cartoon Josie and the Pussycats, et al.  From 1977, it’s Sisters Of Death.

UNCLE PETE AND THE DEVICE

El Vato is even more excited than usual, with the appearance of Claudia Jennings in our feature.  UNCLE PETE takes it easy with Max and Rubber Chicken and Phoneduck and gathers just about every flask with liquid refreshment in it while he and the gang enjoy the flic.  Plus, UNCLE PETE gives the new device a try to see if he can figure out what it’s supposed to do.  Plus, there’s a whole ton of great slasher trailers and a really psychedelic Bicentennial Moment you won’t want to miss.  So tune in this Saturday, September 8, 2012 at from 10PM to midnight on cable channel 4.  It’s UNCLE PETE and the Sisters Of Death on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
