THE THANKSGIVING EVE TRADITION WILL AIR ONCE AGAIN!!!

GET THOSE TUBES WARMED UP – THE SHOW’S ABOUT TO START

Thanksgiving – a day when people look forward to parades, football,  eating, and preparing to get in line in the middle of the night to wait for a store to open so they can experience the true meaning of Christmas as soon as possible and get it over with just as soon.  Of course there are those few oddballs who also gather together with their families to enjoy their company, share a good meal and reflect on life’s blessings and joys.

     That’s Thanksgiving Day.

But as the cool people know, the real blessings happen a day earlier on Thanksgiving Eve.  And this year is no exception.

Make sure to tune in at 10PM on Thanksgiving Eve (November 21, 2012) for the greatest Thanksgiving Eve Tradition ever – THE UNCLE PETE ANNUAL THANKSGIVING EVE DIFFERENT KIND OF AN UNCLE PETE SHOW THING STUFF ETC.!!!  In its 152 year (or something like that – it actually is going on somewhere around 30 years), The Uncle Pete Thanksgiving Eve Special showcases music that you might not usually hear on a regular Uncle Pete Show (whatever that really is)but stuff that is great and seldom heard anywhere else on the radio.  psychedelic, garage, rock-a-billy, the roots of punk, novelties and all sorts of stuff like that there.

If you’re within through the air listening range, tune in WHRW 90.5 on your FM dial.  If you’re anywhere else in the universe, tune in at www.WHRWFM.org.    You can phone in requests at 607-777-2137 or IM me somehow through the WHRW website (it’s voodoo to me – it just sort of happens and I’m not sure how) It’ll be at least 3 hours (probably more) of  the longest running Thanksgiving Eve Tradition on radio.

Wednesday, November 21, 2012 – the earliest date the Special can possibly occur on – from 10PM ’til who knows when.  The UNCLE PETE ANNUAL THANKSGIVING EVE SPECIAL!  I’ll see you on the radio!
