SWAMPS. COWBOYS AND PRE-FAB VAULTS
The turkey’s cooked and at least partially eaten, so now it’s time for dessert. How about a large slice of THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN! Join UNCLE PETE this week for some body snatchin’, swamp swimmin’ horror with Swamp Of The Lost Monster. Seems bodies and villagers are disappearing in the village near the swamp and there’s rumor of a beastie roaming about. Enter our hero Gaston (Gaston Santos), well-known bullfighter, cowboy, and all-around good guy when on his way to a family funeral, the body disappears. Astride his mighty steed Rayo de Plata (Moonlight, or perhaps Silver Ray) he heads out after the evil, foul-smelling, gilled monster. Also starring Manola Saavedra as Julietta, from 1957 it’s Swamp Of The Lost Monster.
UNCLE PETE and Oxnard are still hanging around Lake Dark Vault recounting scary maritime tales about the fate of the SS Ella Fitzgerald and all hands on board and trying to figure out the recently delivered pre-fab Dark Vault kit. UNCLE PETE also finds time to present a rarely seen episode of The Veil hosted by Boris Karloff (Happy Birthday Boris (Nov.23)), a series that presented strange and unexplained tales (much like UNCLE PETE’s behavior).
It’s spookiness and monsters with Swamp Of The Lost Monster thisSaturday night, November 24, 2012 on channel 4 from 10PM to midnight. You’re in for a real shocker with UNCLE PETE (as he tries his hand at wiring up the Vault) on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
