A RARE ON SCREEN CONVERSATION BETWEEN UNCLE PETE AND VITO GOLD

We’ve got it all this week in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!    Of course El Vato always thinks he’s got it all, but this week UNCLE PETE will bring you the whole front to back, side to side version of the 1973 fight fest – Chinese Hercules.  We’ve remastered this classic low budget Kung Fu Feature and now have the complete and wide-screen version for you.  No more scenes of a tree in the distance or a quick flash of an elbow while furious fighting takes place just off-screen.

BEFORE REMASTERED MAGIC

Our story finds our hero, in training for a fight, provoked into an unexpected street fight in which he kills his potential brother-in-law.  Distraught, he vows to never fight again and gets a job working on the docks.  But, the docks are ruled by an evil boss man who is ruled by an even more evil gangster who squeezes every penny he can from the  struggling dock workers.  And his rule is enforced by none other than Chinese Hercules, Chang Tai (Bolo Yeung).  Despite his powerful Kung Fu, our hero refuses to help fight this menace even while his fellows are being squashed like grapes.  Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend, searching for him, gets involved with the mess as well.  Will he snap out of his Kung Funk and fight?    From 1973, and also starring Fan Chiang as Miss Ho, it’s Chinese Hercules.

AFTER REMASTERED MAGIC

Low budget Kung Fu movies show us that formidable fighting styles can overcome some pretty powerful opponents.  But as UNCLE PETE finds out this week, the power of lostkeylockeddoor style is formidable indeed.

Sometimes it gets a little extra dusty in THE DARK VAULT, and UNCLE PETE’S throat gets a little scratchy and when UNCLE PETE heads out into the DARK VAULT COMPLEX to get a cool beverage, he accidentally gets locked out of the VAULT area.  So this week, we find UNCLE PETE wandering the halls of the complex and running into all sorts of interesting characters including 42nd Street Jimmy, Rojo Gato, and Vito Gold – all of whom do not have a key either.  But ever prepared as he is, UNCLE PETE is still able to bring you a ton of trailers, some music, and scads of other groovy stuff, including an interesting interlude at the VITO COLA ™ machine.

So tune in this Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10PM til midnight on channel 4 as UNCLE PETE wanders the halls of THE DARK VAULT COMPLEX in search of the lost key.  It’s the first time ever for the complete wide-screen version of Chinese Hercules and a unique look at The Vault on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
