IT’S CRIME MONTH – AND HERE’S DA BOSS

UNCLE PETE AND EL VATO DISCUSS THE WHO’S WHO OF CRIME

Since September has turned into crime month in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN, this week join UNCLE PETE for the 1972 Italian Mob Thriller – Crime Boss.  It stars Telly Savalas as Don Vincenzo, the tough, ruthless, cultured head of the Family, and Antonio Sabato as Antonio Mancuso, a somewhat successful hood from Sicily with ambitions of playing in the majors (of crime).  Antonio makes the trek from Sicily to Italy where he teams up with his cousin Nicola (Giuliano Persico) who is gainfully employed as a small time pimp.  Antonio makes enough of an impact on the local scene that he not only meets the Don but gets a chance in the organization as an entry-level member.  But Antonio has his sights set  on Don Vincenzo’s job and his daughter Monica (Paolo Tedesco).  Will Telly stand for this?  Find out this week in the DARK VAULT!  From director Alberto DeMartino with a killer score from Francesco DeNasi, it’s Crime Boss.

UNCLE PETE DOES A KOJAK

Back at the vault, UNCLE PETE and El Vato have a discussion about the lineages and fine points of the world of crime.  And UNCLE PETE channels Kojak with an eyeball pop while finding time to bring you a load of trailers and Popeye meeting with some ghosts and stuff in 1954’s Fright To The Finish.

So grab your spinach and your Tootsie Roll pops and join UNCLE PETE this Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 10PM to midnight on channel 4.  It’s Crime Boss, the feature presentation on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
