GIVE US A MOVIE WITH SORORITY GIRLS AND GUNS – AND WE’LL SHOW IT!
Sororities are great organizations – building social skills, fostering lifelong friendships and like that. It’s all good and fun – until somebody gets croaked in a bizarre initiation with guns. Then it becomes a feature presentation on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN. Join UNCLE PETE and El Vato this Saturday as they bring you the 1977 thriller – Sisters Of Death!
Our film opens with a secret sorority initiation ceremony in progress that includes some pledges being told to participate in a little game of Russian Roulette (one of our favorite pastimes here in the VAULT). Somehow one of the guns gets loaded with real bullets and one of the pledges is killed accidentally. Or was it an accident?
Fast forward a bit to where 5 of the Sisters receive anonymous invitations and some cash to come for a reunion at swanky desert estate. So of course the girls, including Claudia Jennings (Judy), Sherry Boucher (Diana), and Cheri Howell (Sylvia), accept and head for the party. Along the way, a couple of guys – Paul Carr (Mark) and Joe Tata (Joe) – decide tagging along with a bunch of unescorted beautiful girls staying at a lavish, remote mansion is a good idea. Soon after arriving, they find that they are trapped on the estate and learn that it’s owned by the deranged father of the girl who got de-brained at the initiation. Not too surprisingly, people start getting bumped off, one by one. But who is the killer? Directed by Joseph Mazzuca, and featuring Sherry Alberoni, former Mouseketeer and the voice of Alexandra from the cartoon Josie and the Pussycats, it’s Sisters Of Death.
While El Vato is positively frenzied with the appearance of Claudia Jennings in our feature, UNCLE PETE takes it easy with Phoneduck and Rubber Chicken and Max and gathers every flask in sight with liquid refreshment in it while he and the gang enjoy the film. Plus, UNCLE PETE gives the unidentified mysterious device in THE VAULT a try to see if he can figure out what it’s supposed to do. There’s a whole ton of great slasher trailers and a really psychedelic Bicentennial Moment. So tune in this Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10PM to midnight on channel 4 in the Binghamton area, channel 17 in Sayre, PA, and channel 99 in Elmira/Corning. It’s the newly remastered version of Sisters Of Death with improved sounds, pictures and blood, coming up on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
