UNCLE PETE TALKS CHICKEN AND HAIR PRODUCTS AND LOVE THIS WEEK

Put on your baggy white pajamas and join the action with your valentine on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN as UNCLE PETE brings you the 1980 feature presentation Karate Kids, U.S.A. While Grandpa J.J. and his martial arts grandsons Zack and Woody (Chris and Pat Petersen) are on vacation, they meet new friend Carol (Sally Boyden), But Carol also meets some backwoods baddies – scheming Angel (played by 50s and 60s TV and movie hottie Ann Southern) and Angel’s two goofball sons – who kidnap Carol and hold her for lots of ransom.  So Zack, Woody, and J.J. decide to come to the rescue.  It’s karate galore and lots of 70’s cars, chases, clothes and humor in this film directed by Curtis Hanson.  Originally titled The Little Dragons (but it was changed to maybe get some attention on the coat-tails of another movie that had  Karate and Kid in the title that was just being released), it’s Karate Kids, U.S.A.

Meanwhile, UNCLE PETE is hanging out with Max’s friend Hendrix and trying to coax some breakfast out of a chicken.  He takes the time to dig up an educational and entertaining short from 1946 called Johnny Learns His Manners – a film that should be required viewing for all Americans and especially El Vato.  So tune in this Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 10PM to midnight on channel 4 (Channel 19 in Montrose/Sayre, PA and channel 99 in Elmira/Corning/Hornell).  It’s Karate Kids, U.S.A., a perfect movie for St. Valentine’s Day cuz nothin’ says lovin’ like a cheesy 70’s action movie, this week on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
