MIXIN’ UP SOME SPRING TONIC – AND CRIME
Just like Granny taught us, Spring is the time for mining up a little tonic. So this week it’s a little concoctin’ and bunch of crime in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN. Join UNCLE PETE for the 1973 crimedy spectacular Mean Frank and Crazy Tony. It stars DARK VAULT fave Lee VanCleef as mob boss Mean Frank and Tony LoBianco as Crazy Tony – a mob boss fanatic from Hoboken who idolizes Mean Frank. Frank gets himself in prison as an alibi for a crime he’s tied up with, but Tony decides that he’s gonna spring his ideal no matter what anybody says or does to try to stop him. The film also stars Edwige French and Romano Pupo (Vitobot’s favorite actor name from Little Rita Of The West). Sometimes called an unofficial crime remake of My Name Is Nobody, from director Michele Lupo (Sheriff and the Satellite Kid), it’s Mean Frank and Crazy Tony.
UNCLE PETE is hard at work in THE DARK VAULT DISTILLERY developing a new flavor of schnapps (or something like that). Having tested and eliminated chlorine and motor oil flavors, UNCLE PETE still has a whole bunch of additives yet to try (and you can be sure there’s some bar-b-que sauce nearby). To keep in the theme of things, UNCLE PETE also has a cartoon treat from 1947 – Little Brown Jug– a sing-a-long you can all join in on.
It’s an action packed, flavor filled night this Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10PM to midnight on channel 4 (Binghamton), channel 17 (Sayre/Montrose), and channel 99 (Corning/Elmira/Hornell). So be sure to join UNCLE PETE for Mean Frank and Crazy Tony, the next feature presentation on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!
