AS BULLWINKLE SAID – THIS TIME FOR SURE!!!
As you may have heard, last week the 1973 action crime drama Mean Frank and Crazy Tony was the scheduled feature presentation that UNCLE PETE had lined up on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN. If you tuned in, you may have wondered why the DARK VAULT had been remodeled to look like a modest church and how UNCLE PETE had been transformed into a lively, articulate black preacher with some pretty nice robes and no fez.
Well as it turns out, that wasn’t actually THE DARK VAULT that aired last Saturday night. And it’s all the result of a new set of hands getting involved in the magic that weekly brings THE DVOPD to your television. It seems that a new technician was left in charge of the machine that gets us on the air and it also seems that he hasn’t yet been graced with the ability to read writin’. And that’s how a show that had words like Sunday and Ministry in its title got switched into a time slot designated for a program with words like Dark and Vault and Public and Domain in its title. So we killed him. Or at least we pointed out his error. Anyway, he won’t be doing that again.
So this week, it really will be Mean Frank and Crazy Tony with Lee Van Cleef and Tony LoBianco. And it’ll also be a cartoon sing-a-long called Little Brown Jug and even UNCLE PETE mixing up some new flavors of Schnapps (or something). So tune in once again, Saturday night, April 18 (OXNARD’S Birthday!!!), 2015 from 10PM to midnight on channel 4 in Binghamton, channel 17 in Sayre/Montrose, and channel 99 in Corning/Elmira/Hornell. And watch for our NEW ENCORE PRESENTATIONS at midnight and again at 2AM in case you can’t get to a TV at 10PM or maybe you missed a part or you just gotta see it again. And celebrate OXNARD’s Birthday with an actual broadcast of the show, our BRAND NEW ENCORES, and all the usual wackiness from UNCLE PETE on the next DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!
