GREEK MYTHOLOGY MEETS KUNG FU IN THE DARK VAULT THIS WEEK!
Fist of fearsome fury are flying this week in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN as UNCLE PETE brings you the wide-screen 1973 kung fu fight fest – Chinese Hercules. We’ve remastered this classic low-budget Kung Fu feature to bring you the complete and wide-screen version in stunning DVOPD definition.
Our hero, while training for a fight, is provoked into an unexpected street fight and kills his potential brother-in-law. He vows to never fight again and gets a job working on the docks. But the docks are ruled by an evil boss man who is ruled by an even more evil gangster who squeezes every penny he can from the struggling dock workers. And his rule is enforced by a man as big as two regular kung fu fighters put together – none other than Chinese Hercules, (Bolo Yeung). Despite his powerful Kung Fu, our hero refuses to fight this menace even though his fellows are being squashed like grapes. While searching for him, his ex-girlfriend gets involved with the mess as well. Will he snap out of his Kung Funk and fight? From 1973, and also starring Fan Chiang as Miss Ho, it’s Chinese Hercules.
Low budget Kung Fu movies show us that formidable fighting styles can overcome some pretty powerful opponents. But as UNCLE PETE finds out this week, the power of lostkeylockeddoor style is formidable indeed.
Being a little dry and dusty in THE DARK VAULT this week, UNCLE PETE heads out into the DARK VAULT COMPLEX to get a cool beverage at a somewhat difficult Vito Cola ™ vending machine and accidentally gets locked out of the VAULT area. In his search for someone who can help, we find UNCLE PETE wandering the halls of the complex and running into all sorts of interesting characters including 42nd Street Jimmy, Rojo Gato, and Vito Gold – all of whom do not have a key either. But ever prepared as he is, UNCLE PETE is still able to bring you a ton of trailers, some music, and an interesting interlude at the VITO COLA ™ machine.
