The third week of Spooky Scary Month conjures up some sorcery at its spookiest and vampires at their hoppingest! Join UNCLE PETE Saturday night in THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN for the 1987 supernatural kung fu thriller – Spooky Sorcerers (aka – New Mr. Vampire).  Before the burial of a prominent and shady businessman, recently killed by a hopping corpse (aka – a vampire type), Sorcerer Wu decides to steal the freshly killed corpse and have it become a vampire.  While Wu’s brother Master Chin and Chin’s followers try to stop the vampire, grave robber Wang Choi (Chin Siu Ho) accidentally uncovers the deceased concubine of a powerful warlord and revives her.  The vampire winds up at the warlord’s hotel.  The concubine winds up at the hotel.  The warlord is pretty miffed that someone disturbed her grave.  The sorcerer brothers Wu and Chin continue their feud.  And then things get complicated!  Starring Chin Siu Ho, Lu Fang, and Huang Ha and Chung Fat as Wu and Chin, from director Billy Chan Wui-Ngai and also known as Kung Fu Vampire Busters, it’s Spooky Sorcerers!

Back at THE DARK VAULT, UNCLE PETE is trying out a little sorcery of his own with his new magic wand.  He manages to conjure up a whole passel of great spooky and kung fu trailers and some rockin’ music from the land of kung fu vampires.  He even accomplishes what hundreds of others have tried to do – making himself disappear!

So tune in this Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10PM to midnight on channel 4 (Binghamton), channel 17 (Sayre/Montrose), channel 30 in the North Country (Champlain/Watertown/Massena/Malone/Ogdensburg), channel 99 (Elmira/Corning/Hornell and Utica/Rome) and channel 2 around the Plattsburg, and Saranac and Tupper Lake area.  And don’t forget the replays at midnight and 2AM!  It’s a festival of vampires, sorcerers, corpses, and all kinds of fun stuff like that with Spooky Sorcerers, the next feature presentation on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN!

(And starting this Friday on Beta Max TV on the Roku system, it’s a RARE showing of the first post-apocalyptic punk rock movie made in China – Dragon City!  This is only the second place this movie has ever been shown in the U.S. – the first being on THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN several years ago and the first time since those showings due to distribution restrictions.  But it’s back this week on Beta Max TV!!!)
