UNCLE PETE GRABS A REFRESHING REFRESHMENT FOR TONIGHT’S FEATURE

Has the long cold, snowy, wet, freezing, windy, nasty winter got ya down?  Are you enjoying the long cold, snowy, wet, freezing, windy, nasty winter?  Either way, make it better with a visit to the snow-covered chalet we like to call THE DARK VAULT OF PUBLIC DOMAIN! This week, UNCLE PETE hits the slopes for a cautionary tale from 1959 on why not to go into strange mountain caves – The Beast From Haunted Cave.

In the snowy hills of South Dakota, a seedy gang is planning a big gold heist.  As a diversion, they plan an explosion in a nearby mine but while setting the explosives, bad guy Marty (Richard Sinatra – maybe Frank’s third cousin twice removed on his father’s side?) and a local barmaid (barmaids are essential for setting explosives in a cave) encounter a huge creature that croaks the barmaid but good.  After the heist, the gang leader (Frank Wolff) hires  local lodge owner/guide (Michael Forest) to take them to a remote for some “skiing” (aka – hiding out until their getaway plane shows up).  But the beastie in the nearby cave locates the gang with dinner on its mind.  No one believes Marty’s story about the creature until people start disappearing.  That’s when the real fun starts.
